PLASTIC BOTTLES with the recycling symbol and the #1 or #2 on the bottom. Please rinse, flatten and discard tops and caps. Please, no stackable plastic such as margarine tubs or yogurt cups.

METAL CONTAINERS, including all food and beverage cans, and lids, empty aerosol cans (which did not previously contain hazardous waste such as pesticides), aluminum foil and aluminum baking tins. Please remove food particles by rinsing. It is not necessary to remove paper labels.

GLASS CONTAINERS, including all clear and colored glass food and beverage bottles. Rinse bottles and discard caps. It is not necessary to remove paper labels.

GABLE TOP CONTAINERS, including milk and juice cartons. Please rinse and flatten.

|
CORRUGATED CARDBOARD, (grooved cardboard, commonly used for packing boxes). Flatten into lengths no larger than 3 feet by 3 feet. Place in, under or next to bin.

PAPER ITEMS: Please place the following paper items in a brown paper bag. The bag goes on top of, under or next to your bin:
Newspapers, magazines and catalogs
All discarded mail
Office paper, computer paper, most school paper Non-metallic greeting cards and wrapping paper
Envelopes (all types)
Carbonless multi-part forms (NCR paper)
Grocery and lunch bags (any color).
Telephone books (April – May, only)

PAPER BOARD, including paper board boxes from household packaging such as cereal, pasta and other food, tissue, gift and toy boxes, paper towel/toilet paper rolls, mailing tubes, empty soda/beer cases. Please remove any plastic inner liners and flatten. Place inside paper bag with your newspapers.
PIZZA BOXES can be placed in with your other corrugated boxes. Please remove food, plastic, foil and paper, and flatten boxes.

DRINK BOXES and other "aseptic" containers, including soups, broths, and soy milk that come in a box. Please remove any straws and place with your other recyclable containers.
